So here are a few pictures of our stop in Dresden to whet your appetite, and next time we will be sure to stay for a couple of days, as should you if you get the chance to visit!
Dresden was one of those surprises that pop up when you least expect them to. We had planned a lunch stop but without a doubt, we could have easily spent a couple of days in Dresden having now experienced. Set on the River Elbe, Dresden’s town centre was fantastic – the most amazing Christmas Markets, sensational cuisine (my deer and boar bratwurst was the best sausage I’ve ever tasted, a hands down winner) and the antiquated buildings and cobbled streets were truly divine. We were even treated to an opera song outside the main church area, which was just stunning and added to our memorable experience!
